Founded in 2011, JJ Wood had a passion to help junior golfers gain exposure and financial assistance to play college golf. As we know golf is an expensive sport and most junior golfers do not have the correct information to navigate the college recruiting process. With the help of local businesses, former college athletes and coaches, The Student Athlete Foundation serves as a resource to help local athletes pursue their dreams through academic advisement and exposure opportunities through the SAF scholarship fund and College Golf Showcase. 

Beginning in 2016, we were approached by the PGA of America to hold an 8-week golf program, complimentary to veterans and amputees in America. We would like to continue this program year round through your support of SAF.
